Pancake Day
Historic Courthouse District, Centerville
9:00 a.m. - Pancake Tent opens
10:00 a.m. - Kiddie Parade
1:00 p.m. The Big Parade
One of the state's largest parades with hundreds of entries, including marching bands, floats, horses, and other unique entries. Day-long entertainment. Food, kids activities, and FREE pancakes. Free admission.
Rathbun Country Music Theater
April-October
Saturday evenings, 8 p.m. showtime. One mile north of the Rathbun Dam. Iowa's longest running country music show features family style entertainment with house band, comedian, and weekly guests. Admission $8 adults and $3 for children 5 through 11.
Friday Trolley Tours
May - September
Friday Trolley Tours leave the Continental Hotel every Friday at 1:30 p.m. and travel to historic and scenic locations throughout the county, including the Courthouse square district, mansions on Drake Avenue, the Levee and Historic churches. This narrative excursion is sponsored by the Historic Preservation Corporation. Cost is $5.
Centerville's Farmers Market
June - October
Every Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. and every Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the historic courthouse square district. Specialties include fresh produce, crafts, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, ethnic food, and weekly entertainment.
Fun Nite and Farmer's Market

Every Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Moravia Square. Homegrown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, crafts.
