Mercer County Fair 

 

The Mercer County Fair is held in July of each year at the fairgrounds in Princeton, Missouri.   

 

Schedule of Events 

 

Sunday - July 11th 

10:00 a.m.         Green Hills Circuit Horse Show 

 

Tuesday - July 13th 

5-6:00 p.m.     Open Class Exhibits Entry 

5-6:00 p.m.     4-H Conference Judging - Judging of open class exhibits  

                          (following conference judging) 

7:00 p.m.         Super farmer event at lower grounds 

 

Wednesday - July 14th 

7:45 p.m.         Fair royalty at arena 

8:00 p.m.         David Nail at arena 

 

Thursday - July 15th 

3-5:00 p.m.     Registration for swine show 

5-5:45 p.m.     Registration for baby show 

6:00 p.m.         Baby show at lower grounds 

7:30 p.m.         Swine show 

 

Friday - July 16th 

8:00 a.m.        Rabbit/Chicken registration 

10:00 a.m.      Rabbit/Chicken show 

1-4:00 p.m.    Registration for Sheep/Goat show 

6:00 p.m.        Sheep show followed by the goat show 

7:00 p.m.        Side by side mud run - SBSMRA sanctioned 

 

Saturday - July 17th 

8-9:00 a.m.    Registration for beef show 

8-8:30 a.m.    Registration for pet show 

8:30 a.m.        Pet show 

10:00 a.m.     Beef show 

5:00 p.m.       4-H ice cream social 

6:00 p.m.       Auction 

6-6:30 p.m.   Talent show registration 

7:00 p.m.       Talent show at upper grounds 

 

Saturday - July 24th 

1-4:00 p.m.    Antique tractor pull 

7:00 p.m.       IAMO tractor pull 

 

All pee wee classes will start the livestock shows.
